We dug Wine Riot back in April, and now that its sponsors have more experience under their belts, the latest iteration of the event is sure to be even better. Wine Riot is a unique blend of instruction, imbibing, and getting down, with subtle notes of enlightenment and a refreshing mouth feel. Or something like that. Presented by the Second Glass, everyone's favorite local wine magazine run by a dude with a Dig column, Wine Riot will take place next weekend (September 25 and 26) at the John J Moakley Courthouse on the waterfront. Get your tickets soon, because the ticket bottle's almost drained. $65 for a VIP session on Friday evening or $45 for regular sessions Saturday afternoon and evening (1-5, 6-10).
