A quick Web search reveals anecdotal evidence that Seroquel is used to come down off of amphetamines or simply for the potency of its tranquilizing effect. Taking Seroquel is like popping a super-sized Xanax. And its abuse is international. The Globe-Mail reports that junkies are using Seroquel as a poor man's heroin.
