One of our favorite photogs, Richietown has been out shooting again, most recently after the wondrous ice storm that rolled through last week. While there are many things to love in this photo, our favorite was how the branches of the trees all mingle to literally blanket the sky. The perspective and lighting are also naturally spot-on. Check two of his other shots from that night, black ice and december lights. Both are fantastic and can't be missed. more ›
We could choose to be disappointed. We figured (and we weren't the only ones) that the combination of crappy weather, boisterous fans and motivated personnel would mean the Patriots would kick the Jets' butts up and down the field for three hours. We figured that, even though we're better than New York in every sport right now, yesterday would be a cathartic blowout to soothe any lingering anti-NY feelings around here. more ›

But the city was really rocked by how Rudy Giuliani's visits... more ›

During a conversation about the flood of movies shooting in Boston, a member of b0st0n LiveJournal linked to video of Diaz shooting The Box. The LiveJournal members also debated what a dumb title of a movie that is. Besides the obvious porn connotations, The Box is too vague. Does the box belong to anyone? Is it big? Is it small? We need an adjective here, people! The Patriot Ledger posted a YouTube video of The... more ›

Things looked especially dismal down two with five seconds to go. Paul Pierce missed a game-tying shot, and Charlotte got the rebound. Boston... more ›
