We had our white Christmas. Now, the post-Christmas white-out is being visited upon us. That's right, a huge blizzard, storm, or nor'easter is headed our way. A blizzard warning that includes everything "east of Worcester, except for Cape Cod" began around noon and weather forecasts say parts of Massachusetts can expect up to 20 inches of snow.
The city has ordered that a snow emergency and parking ban will go into effect at 10:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009. According to the city, this means:
Looks like Phil was right, and we'll be getting blasted with winter again soon. It's pretty innocuous out right now, but the city has declared a snow emergency beginning at 10pm tonight. We may get up to 14 inches of snow, an unfortunate addition to the more than four feet we've already received this winter. Remember to move your cars, shovel your walks, and above all tweet away!
No pacifiers required, no parking allowed.
We just read Boston.com's update on our developing snow situation, and, honestly? We're more confused than we had been before.
