Sick of almost getting hit by heedless drivers around Somerville? The Somerville Police Department hears ya. Boston drivers young and old have a reputation for recklessness, and cities are finally starting to recognize this. According to Wicked Local, the SPD is starting a "Stop for Red, Stop for Pedestrians, or Stop for Blue" campaign this Friday. Jane Park has been missing for two weeks. A 2004 Wellesley College graduate and now resident of Somerville was last seen on May 5, 2006. Dan Cotter, the public information officer for the Somerville PD, told the Somerville Journal that detectives on the case have ruled out foul play. Bostonist wrote a while back about a mysterious boat that turned up in an empty city-owned property near Somerville City Hall. Turns out the yacht belonged to Frankie Santangelo, a city employee who violated ethics rules by using city property for personal use.
