Three men found dead in a Waltham apartment on Monday were all stabbed in the neck, according to prosecutors and police. The murder victims were identified as Brandon Mess, 25, of Waltham; Erik Weissman, 31, of Cambridge; and Raphael Teken, 37, of Cambridge. Mess lived in the apartment that was the scene of the crime. A female college student was allegedly sexually assaulted on the Esplanade and thrown into the Charles River on Sunday morning. A man told police he found the woman, soaking wet, near the Massachusetts Avenue bridge and se allegedly said she was assaulted. The victim left the area without her purse and identification and when police found her after that, she declined medical attention and couldn't describe the attacker. A 12-year old Franklin boy was arrested on Sunday morning after stabbing his nine-year old brother four times with a kitchen knife. Mark Kerrigan was acquitted on Wednesday of involuntary manslaughter in the 2010 death of his father. The jury convicted Kerrigan of assault and battery on a person 60 years of age and older, a charge that could put himiin jail for up to 2.5 years. Darrell Rodrigues, 20, pleaded guilty to manslaughter for his role in the 2007 shooting death of 13-year old Luis Gerena Jr. in Jamaica Plain. He faces 14-15 years in prison. Two brothers, one a University of Massachusetts student, were injured on Friday night when a dispute over a parking spot escalated into an assault with a socket wrench in an Amherst parking lot. The 22-year old student suffered "spinal and head trauma and multiple fractures in his leg" after he was beaten with a 24-inch wrench. Matthew Worster, 17, of Easton was arrested for allegedly killing his mother and burying her in the family's yard. Beth Spartichino, 42, was found on Thursday after being reported missing on Wednesday. He is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and intent to murder, and could be charged with murder after an autopsy. Worster reportedly told his younger brother he shot his mother. Police responded around 10:30 p.m. to a fight in progress and found two bloodied people outside. The three men had a verbal altercation inside that led to a physical altercation outside. A Hingham man faces multiple charges, including two counts of aggravated assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, trespassing, and a civil rights violation with injury, after allegedly attacking two people in Waltham last week. Timothy A. Schmitt, 22, of Hingham and Bentley University pleaded not guilty and was held on $2,000 cash bail. Schmitt allegedly attacked a pregnant woman and a deaf black man, and used racial slurs toward them. The man suffered a broken skull bone. Amy Bishop was indicted on capital murder and attempted murder charges for her involvement in the 2010 killing of three University of Alabama Huntsville professors. She allegedly shot three other faculty members. Bishop allegedly killed her brother in 1986 in Braintree. She was indicted for first-degree murder by the Norfolk district attorney’s office in June. Three of Massachusetts' Top 10 Wanted Sex Offenders have been arrested. Caesar J. Delgado, 44, was arrested in Central Falls, R.I. He faces four counts of rape of a child with force and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14. He also failure to register as a sex offender. He'll be arraigned as a fugitive before returning to Massachusetts. State Police arrested Steven M. Hescock, 34, in Revere today for failure to register as a sex offender, assault and battery, larceny and motor vehicle violations in Middlesex and Suffolk counties. Franklin C. A Medford woman allegedly killed her husband with a cooking knife after she found a hickey on his neck. Police found Troy Burston shirtless with a stab wound, allegedly inflicted by his wife Shawntina Burston, in the chest outside of his home on Exchange Avenue last night. The couple, who have two children, fought after returning home from a party. Burston pleaded not guilty on Monday in Somerville District Court. She was held without bail. Richard Walling pleaded not not guilty to two counts of manslaughter in Wareham District Court today after two masked men tried to steal $10,000 he inherited. According to prosecutors, a third driver, apparently upset at being delayed by the accident, began banging on Flaherty's car before opening a car door and striking him. Flaherty's attorney said his client responded by stabbing the third driver in the arm to defend himself. An employee at Anna's Taqueria was stabbed by a co-worker on Wednesday after an argument on MIT's campus. The incident happened at 4:30 p.m. at the MIT Student Center. No arrests have been made, but the following description of a suspect was released: Hispanic, age 20-30, 5’8’’ to 5’9’’ wearing a red and black baseball cap with the letter C and wearing light blue jeans.
