City officials suggested that South Boston liquor stores close at 4 p.m. on Sunday instead of 5 p.m. as they have for the last four years on St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Boston asked bars "to stop letting in patrons at 6:30 p.m., stop serving alcohol at 7 p.m., and to send all patrons home by 7:30 p.m.," according to the Globe. Patricia A.
