The Globe reports that Framingham police have told some local residents to remain indoors and beware of an armed, suicidal individual. This knife-wielding 53-year-old man is apparently white, 6 feet tall, and gray-haired, and was first seen at the intersections of Joseph and Nadine roads. the man's wife reported that he was intoxicated and had threatened "suicide by cop" earlier in the day. People in this area of Framingham are encouraged to remain indoors. MetroWest Daily News reports on school lockdowns, which are in effect at Charlotte A. Dunning Elementary School on Frost Street, Walsh Middle School on Brook Street, and George P. King School on Water Street. Dozens of Framingham and state police are searching for this man. If you spot anyone of his description, alert police.
