It started with the launch of the Duck Boats earlier this month, and their attempt to break into Cambridge. Tomorrow marks the launch of the Swan Boats in the Public Garden. Bostonist has had a soft spot for the Swan Boats ever since we made way for ducklings. Mayor Menino gets the honor of taking the first ride and he is bringing six grandchildren along for the ride. The mayoral celebration and launch takes place Saturday, April 16 at 10 a.m., we might just wait until July to check it out.
