Boston Police arrested a 26 year-old male from Arlington for operating under the influence at approximately 12:40 a.m. on Sunday. Officers observed a Honda Civic colliding with a taxi cab near Arlington Street and Columbus Ave and approached both operators to help. Neither driver needed medical attention. Officers smelled alcohol on the driver of the Honda and observed his "speech was slurred, balance compromised and eyes glassy." He admitted havng two beers and failed a field sobriety test.
