We mused yesterday that the Free Adam Wheeler Facebook group would grow as quickly as the former Harvard student's resume, and we may have been right. The group now has 71 members, and the New Republic has published Adam Wheeler's resume (full resume in PDF) as submitted in an application for a TNR internship. The truly fantastical resume, which boasts—among other credentials—independent graduate study at Georgetown (before the Harvard BA was received), sweet lectures such as “From Parthia to Robin Hood: The Armenian Version of the Epic of the Blind Man’s Son (Köroghlu)" (title ripped off from James R. Russell, the Mashtots professor of Armenian at Harvard), bunches of books "under review" with Harvard University Press and/or McGill-Queen's University Press, and "languages" including French, Old English, Classical Armenian, and Old Persian—mostly raises the question: why would someone with these creds need a freakin' internship? We knew the economy was pretty bad, but come on.
