Secretary of State Bill Galvin released corrected state census data this afternoon that showed Boston and Springfield added to their populations in the past decade. There will be more math required for high school students who want to go to any state college or university in Massachusetts beginning in 2016. The new requirement is four years of mathematics. Aside from the on-field action, Super Bowl Sunday means music and commercials. Christina Aguilera sounded great and looked great, too. She just forgot the words. Ahh, Super Bowl ads. The Darth Vader kid ad was well done. Bostonist did things like that as a kid. We liked the beaver ad, but not the Bieber ad. People are upset with a Groupon ad featuring Timothy Hutton and some snark directed at Tibet.
Although Bostonist generally gravitates to low-cost eateries, when a local newbie makes it into Conde Nast Traveler, we sit up and take notice. We'll let you in on a little secret – high priced eateries usually offer more affordable brunches. It's a great way to sample the atmosphere and nosh without taking in the full bill of dinner. It wasn’t long before we found ourselves in the darkened bar of OM Restaurant and Lounge, eager to see what all the fuss was about.
