[I]f you drink blood that doesn't necessarily mean you're a vampire. There are blood fetishists. This is something I talk about in the book: there people who used to describe themselves as vampires and now describe themselves as blood fetishists.
And I've seen symbiotic relations form between blood fetishists and vampires.
