Since this weekend is supposed to rain, rain, rain, JP's Spontaneous Celebrations has decided to delay their annual Wake Up The Earth Festival from this Saturday, May 7th to next Saturday, May 14th. On their website, however, they still mention a "pre-party" occuring on the 7th, but Bostonist is slightly confused about details. Bostonist will give more detail next week, but the Wake Up The Earth Festival has been occuring since 1979, it's a celebration of a ton of relevant May dates, and it is a cornerstone of the thriving JP community. Check out the website and get ready for a parade and community fun on the next sunny weekend!
