Cape Wind has already suffered delays galore as opponents figure out what else they can study about the wind farm in Nantucket Sound--and they've received another delay for Christmas.

Today, House Speaker Salvatore DiMasi presented a major renewable energy bill today that will be debated next week. Right after DiMasi's announcement and also in the State House, authors Wendy Williams and Robert Whitcomb gave a presentation to legislators about a specific way to achieve that goal--investment in wind energy.

"Authorial Intent" wraps up book events for the week in the Boston area. Bostonist has followed the Cape Wind story intently ever since reading Wendy Williams and Robert Whitcomb's book on the subject. The Cape Wind plan, which would install turbines in Nantucket Sound, would make an excellent source of alternative energy. Jones' investigation into the protest against Cape Wind, the project to build wind turbines in Nantucket Sound, revealed exactly why so many powerful people want to stop the project. The powerful people could have talked to him, but he and author Wendy Williams discovered that not just anyone can get close to the Kennedy Compound,...

Imagine our dismay when we tuned in to the "Daily Show" on Thursday night to witness their piece on Cape Wind when we saw some lame piece about Clinton and Obama sniping at each other. Was Cape Wind not funny enough for the "Daily Show"? How could a story that involves the immortal line "You are a traitor to your class" not appeal to the "Daily Show"? Well, never fear. Wendy Williams, co-author of Cape...

Christy Mihos - former wild-card candidate for governor, best known for running an animated ad showing Big Dig officials sticking their own heads up their butts – is co-chair of the Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound, the group that vociferously opposes Cape Wind. Recently, it looked like Mihos was stepping up to the plate with an actual alternative to the original Cape Wind plan, which would put turbines in Nantucket Sound. He volunteered the sites...

There was an Old Man of Nantucket Who often set sail in a bucket When faced with a Man Who had a grand plan Well, as for the Earth, he said __________. Cape Wind, the hotly debated proposal to build a wind-turbine farm in Nantucket Sound, looks like a brilliant idea. Building wind turbines that took advantage of Cape Cod winds would relieve pressure on the electrical grid, generate clean energy, and help wean the...
