Kenya's Geoffrey Mutai covered 26.2 miles faster than any person ever has when he won the Boston Marathon in 2:0:02 on Monday. The IAAF says the "downhill course" that Boston uses is not eligible to set a world record as it creates a "tailwind." The BAA plans to ask the IAAF to certify Mutai's time as a world record.
